Who is the Mighty One
wields the power of His own words
imparted in His Son

there’s power in the name
of Jesus Christ the Son of God
no lesser god can claim

sustaining all there is
almighty force in full control
His glory solely His

wherever His word is proclaimed
no matter where it’s sent
it never comes back void to God
it’s full of His intent

by drawing man with His great love
to set him free from sin
because the truth when its applied
the Word will bring them in

for life to have any meaning
this word of God made flesh
may dwell within the heart of man
where love has sought to mesh

joining creature with Creator
God’s image made of dust
can now fully rest upon
the Word which he can trust
